Guide: How to create a Google Ads account

Google Ads accounts for 70% of Google’s revenue – It’s made up of Search, Display, Shopping, Video, and more.

Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1. Go to the Google Ads website

Navigate to https://ads.google.com

Step 2. Click "Start now"

You might have to login to your Google account first.

If you don’t have a Google account yet, you can create one by clicking “Create account”.

Step 3. Click “New Google Ads account"

Once you’ve logged into your Google account, click “New Google Ads account”.

Step 4. Click "Skip campaign creation"

At the bottom of the pop-up click on “Skip Campaign Creation”.

We don’t want to create a campaign until later.

Step 5. Click "Create an account without a campaign"

At the bottom of the page click on “Create an account without a campaign”.

Like before, we don’t want to create a campaign until later.

Step 6. Fill in your business information

The last thing you have to do is provide your business details and click “continue”.

That's it!

You’ve now created your Google Ads account.
