Guide: How to invite new users to your Google Tag Manager account

Here’s how to add new users to your existing Google Tag Manager account.

Difficulty: Easy

Step 1. Click on "Admin"

When you’ve logged in to your Google Tag Manager account, click on “Admin” at the top of your screen

Step 2. Click on “User Management”

Step 3. Click on the blue plus button in the top-right of the page

Step 4. Click "Add users"

Step 5. Add an email address

From here, add the email address of the person you would like to invite to your Google Tag Manager account.

You can add multiple people add once by typing a comma after each email address

Step 6. Set account permissions

Set the right account permissions for the people you would like to invite to your account

Step 7. Click "Set all"

Under “Container permissions” click “Set all

Step 8. Set container permissions

Set the right container permissions for the people you would like to invite to your account

Step 9. Click "Done"

In the top right of the window click “Done” to confirm these permissions and to go back to the previous window

Step 10. Click "Invitation"

In the top right of the window click “Invitation” to complete inviting people to your Google Tag Manager account.
